Susan will be providing medical Qi gong healing sessions in Seattle, WA and Austin, TX beginning in 2024.
Susan Moore received her master's degree in acupuncture from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 1996, is certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture, and is a licensed practitioner in Washington state. She is also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Washington and North American Toyohari Association and is a founding member of the Northwest Maternity Acupuncture Association.
Susan served as Clinical and Core Faculty at Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine and ran an acupuncture clinic at the University of Washington Midwives Department. She also served as Clinical Faculty in the Maternity Care Clinic at the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and Clinical Preceptor for Bastyr University. Susan teaches classes on fertility enhancement & nutrition and pregnancy and post-partum care to allied professionals and general public. Susan has specialized training in women's and children's health including gynecological disorders, maternity and postpartum care, chronic conditions, and emotional disorders. She incorporates qi gong and meditation mindfulness-awareness techniques as part of her offerings.
Susan believes in empowering others to take a preventive & sustainable stance in their own health and concentrates on treating the underlying cause of a condition, not just the symptoms—which is the primary focus of
traditional Asian medicine.
